Privacy Policy
How D4Act handles personal information collected through this website.

1. Who we are
D4Act (Data For Action) is a consultancy firm registered in Lomé, Togo. The data controller for this website is D4Act, contactable at contact@d4act.com.
2. What we collect
We collect three categories of information:
- Contact form data - your name, email, organisation, service interest, and message, only when you submit the form on /contact/. Used solely to respond to your enquiry.
- Recruitment data - any CV or message you send to recruitment@d4act.com. Used solely to evaluate your application.
- Analytics data - if you accept analytics cookies, we record aggregated information about your visit (pages viewed, time on page, country, device class) using Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled. We do not collect or store personal identifiers, advertising IDs or behavioural profiles.
3. Cookies
This site sets no cookies by default. The only cookies we may set are Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*), and only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key d4act-consent. You can revoke consent any time by clearing site data in your browser.
4. Legal basis (GDPR)
For visitors in the European Union, EEA, United Kingdom or Switzerland: contact and recruitment processing rests on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering a contract). Analytics processing rests on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent, given via the banner).
5. Retention
Contact form messages are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Recruitment submissions are kept for up to 12 months unless you ask for earlier deletion. Aggregated analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction or objection to processing, and data portability. Email contact@d4act.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Third parties
Beyond Google Analytics (with consent) and Google Fonts (which serves website typography), this site shares no data with third parties. Google's privacy policy applies to those services.
